▨ large canvas

An infinitely pannable canvas has the great affordance to anchor each and everything that might be worth considering and nothing will be omitted. Like a large mural in a 'war room' (sorry for that ugly name), and after some rearranging and coloring it becomes clearer what remains to be processed and what to prune.

Note repositories are often treated like a universal 'cupboard' containing everything. But for seeing connections, notes need to lie on a 'table', a subset assembled from multiple 'drawers'.

The map is the subset of my notes that I draw from my 'cupboard' and put it on my 'table'. In turn, I often create subsets of this subset (smaller maps), or drop them into larger maps.
