Whenever many notes or labels are selected for an overview, there is the temptation to skip the apparently irrelevant ones, especially when typing is involved instead of digital importing. But the overview emerges only from the full picture.
Note-taking is an investment that may seem futile as long as the single notes are not connected, After compounding 30-40 notes, I revisit them and see if new grouping emerges.
